Auctioneers Note: Mr. Rue graduated from Cambridge High School class of 1947. He enlisted into the armed forces and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army on April 1, 1951. He settled into the restaurant and bar business as the operator of Jim’s Drive-In and Sportsman’s Bar for a score of years. He was a member of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge #66, Cambridge Elks Lodge #1272, and the Dorchester County Historical Society. He thoroughly enjoyed the time-honored sport of Waterfowling particularly with his childhood friend, the late Russel C. “Bussie” Spear Jr., his brother, notable decoy carver, the late Ronald L. Rue and his early mentor of that sport the late Dr. Wallace P. Smith. Allen and Marshall is pleased to bring this local legend’s entire estate to public auction. Online Bidding: This is an Online Only Auction held on the A&M Auctioneers website. Early Pre-Bidding is will open soon!  You will be able bid at any time up until the closing time for each individual items which will start at 5 PM on Wednesday June 10th, 2020. 1 lot will end Approx. every 30 seconds. This Auction will feature a soft closing. If someone bids in the last minute before an item closes the bidding on that item only will be extended for 1 minute. This will give you a chance to bid again. This process will continue until one person stops bidding or doesn’t bid before the time runs out.

A&M Auctioneers and Appraiser’s does not ship items, however shipping is available through the UPS Pack and Ship Store of Salisbury, MD or a shipper of buyer’s choice. Buyer is responsible for bringing any required manpower, tools, boxes, wrapping paper, blankets, wheel cart or dollies needed to remove your items from the property. The home is getting listed first thing Monday morning. Items not picked up by 12 noon on Saturday June 13th, 2020 will be considered abandoned and will be disposed of at the discretion of the Auction Company.
